Nestled in the heart of Barnes Park, Sunderland, Nineteen O Nine pays homage to over a century of history and community. Since its opening in 1909, Barnes Park has been a beloved haven for families, friends, children, dog walkers, and the many animals that call it home.
The café’s identity reflects the organic, playful, and family-friendly spirit that has defined Barnes Park for generations. With a hand-drawn illustrative style, a contemporary nature-inspired colour palette, and clean Sans Serif typography, Nineteen O Nine captures the park’s beauty and invites both loyal visitors and newcomers to enjoy its charm.
Whether you’re a long-time patron or discovering the park for the first time, Nineteen O Nine offers a warm and welcoming space that celebrates the legacy of Barnes Park.
